Inductively Coupled Plasma – Mass Spectrometers (ICP-MS)
810-MS
High sample throughput with the ultimate in analytical performance. Uses Varian’s patented high efficiency 90 degree ion optics and double off-axis quadrupoles giving low background noise and unmatched sensitivity at more than 1 million counts per second for 1ug/L.
For trace and major elemental analyses and for samples that don’t require CRI (collision reaction interface).
820-MS
Same features as the 810-MS plus Varian’s unique CRI (collision reaction interface) system which routinely removes troublesome spectroscopic interferences. The result is faster and more flexible interference-free analysis without the worry of complex multipole or scanning quadrupole ion guides or cells. All instrument parameters use autotuning including CRI gases.
